To ensure that your desired company name is available in your selected state, US LegalCorp will conduct a preliminary, non-binding, name-availability search with each incorporation or L.L.C. formation request before submitting your documents to the state office.  If you do not wish to use our formation services at this time, US LegalCorp can still perform the name-check for you for a $15 fee. You will receive a name check report.

Name Reservation Requests

A name reservation is NOT required before forming your corporation or Limited Liability Company (L.L.C.).  In fact, a name reservation may often lengthen and delay the incorporation or L.L.C. formation process.  However, it may be wise to reserve a corporate or L.L.C. name if you are not yet ready to form the entity at this time or have some reason for delaying its formation.  Upon request, US LegalCorp will reserve your company name for the maximum time period allowed in a single reservation request.  

Please note, many states do charge name reservation fees in addition to US LegalCorp fees.
